Sara Filipcic is the Founder and Executive Director of the Institute for Humane Robotics – the organization setting global standards for psychosocial safety in human-robot interaction. With a background spanning social work, cross-cultural research, and entrepreneurship, she brings a perspective the field rarely has: one rooted in human behavior, not just hardware.
She has spoken at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the Harvard Radcliffe Institute, NYU, and UC Berkeley.
Her organization leads development of IEEE P7027, the first standard for trust and safety in domestic, family, and child-facing robotic environments.
